It began with each student choosing a subject of interest and mine was "are we alone amongst the stars?" Then, came the research into different branches of that topic and compiling information for the article sections. The images and text were focused on the past mythology of the stars, as well as space exploration efforts and Earth's potential future in that regard. On Adobe InDesign, the content of the article design was then given visual balance through hierarchy, line spacing, and text wraps. With two columns on each page. Where the images were scaled and arranged to help fit the article into three spreads. And also, the opening title was made with a combination of positive and negative space included in its representation of the article.
