Full Process
When communicating a color’s psychology profile, mine was orange. Which then went on to be researched in how that color could be used and what moods different kinds of orange might evoke. This was to visually convey the idea of this color on my poster. Design approaches for the poster were brainstormed. And after that, an illustration of a fruit bowl was made based on the photo of a family bowl. With a combination of different colored layers, on Adobe Illustrator. The yellow bananas were included alongside the oranges to allow for a little complexity in the illustration. Just as kindled emotions are complex. A colored frame was applied around the illustration to allow for a degree of focus on it. A great deal of dark blue was put on the poster. Both for the informational text to stand out in its own section and to include some contrast in the illustration. Just think about how one color can be perceived differently when combined with others.
A college project in “Digital Design & Color” class to demonstrate the ability to convey and represent a specific color. As well as the psychological and emotional effects it can have on audiences.
