Process
When drawing a body part, such as my own hand, it was important to consider, not just the basic shapes on the outside, but the innerworkings of my hand, as well. With all the bones inside, a it can pose in many ways. In this instance, my phone was included to challenge my ability to work with different kinds of lighting. Seeing as how the light changes slowly against a hand and more sharply when it reaches the phone. One hand was held high for posing, and the other was used to draw with a little bit of pencil and a lot of charcoal. Thereby, applying shadow small amounts at a time and making some more blurred than others.
